Anteak is a bespoke furniture company.

 

This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through our website and enquiry forms, including those run via Meta (Facebook and Instagram). For UK enquiries, Anteak acts as the data controller under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For Indian residents, Anteak acts as the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act).

When you submit an enquiry form, we collect only:

• Your name, email address and phone number

• Your responses to our project questions (home type, scope, timescale)

We do not collect sensitive personal data. We do not collect payment information through our forms.

 

Why we collect it?

We use your information solely to respond to your furniture enquiry and discuss your project with you.

We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not send unsolicited marketing without your separate consent.

Legal basis (UK): Legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you have directly submitted to us.

Legal basis (India): Consent — by submitting the form, you consent to us processing your data for the purpose stated above.

 

How long we keep it?

We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months. If you do not engage with us within that period, your data is deleted. You may request deletion at any time.

 

Who we share it with?

We use Meta Platforms (Facebook / Instagram) to collect enquiry form submissions. Meta acts as a data processor. By submitting a form hosted on Meta, your data is also subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.

 

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with any other third party, except where required by law.
